Obituary of Larry M. Scheffler

Larry M. Scheffler, age 65, of the Village of Wilson died suddenly on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. Larry was born on November 13th, 1958, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Larry R. Scheffler and the late Jeanette Askew.
Larry was the owner and operator of an over the road trucking company and previous co-owner of the former Scheffler Hardware in Wilson. He was a 44-year member of the Wilson Fire Co. #1. Larry enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcycle in his younger years.
Surviving is an aunt, uncle, and several cousins, also his dear friends Darrell Yochum and Gary Cooley.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 10th in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson, NY with Rev. Ron Haefer officiating. Larry will be laid to rest with his late father. A luncheon will follow at the Wilson Fire Co # 1.
