Doug was a genuine guy, honest, dedicated and funny. We had many laughs over hotel stories from the past. I will miss him.

As a caregiver for Doug, I only knew him a little over three months! I was with Doug almost every day. In that time we became friends, and I could easily see why he was loved by so many!! He had a smile like no other and a love for life that will go on in the memories of everyone’s heart that Doug touched!!!! I will truly miss this man and the many hours we sat talking and watching 0ld TV shows!!! Rest in peace my friend, I hope there is a lot of candy in heaven❤️. Kim

I met Doug while working at the Red Coach Inn. He was great to work with. He was down to earth and a generally wonderful guy. We became friends and kept in touch for a time after our work status changed, but unfortunately lately we hadn't communicated. I trust that this story isn't inappropriate. Food quality came up in discussion. I quipped, "You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t." Doug reflected for a moment and replied, "Maybe with enough mayo... ". He always had a great sense of humor. RIP Doug. You are missed.

Doug was a genuinely good guy. I have a lot of memories laughing with him at the Giacomo and at the company Christmas parties. he was so generous and kind and will be missed
