Obituary of George A. Hardy

George A. Hardy, age 62, of Ransomville died Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Lockport Memorial after a brief illness. George was born August 17, 1961 in North Tonawanda, NY, the son of the late Herman Hardy, Jr. and the late Shirley (Harless) Hardy.
He was employed by American Brass as a Machine Operator and Welder for over two decades. George loved working on motorcycles as a hobby but also loved to help his friends and family. He also enjoyed fishing and was beloved by so many people. Most of all he loved being with and taking care of his family.
He is survived by one daughter: Alyssa (Richard) Hillman and one son: Jesse Hardy, two sisters, Lynn Hardy and Tammy (Jamie) Genis; and his beloved grandchildren Harlie and Kyla Hillman.
A gathering of friends and family will be Wednesday, February 28 from 4 - 7 pm at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
