Hank worked with me at Niacet for many years. He was an incredible individual with enormous drive and intelligence. He was the guy you wanted on a project when the calculations absolutely had to be correct. He was an amazing mentor to the young engineers at the company. They all have stories about him and I hope some will write them in this book. He influenced many careers at Niacet, mine for sure. Somewhere around 2013 he told me it was time to move on, I did not want to believe it an often joked that he was a baby only being 19 years old, far to young to retire. I will miss him. My only regret is we never got out skiing in Vail. We talked about it for many years and he brought me a trail map from Vail every year, but we never managed to put it together.
To the family, you have my condolences, but take joy in the fact that Hank had a life well lived.

I'm sorry to hear about Hank's passing. I did get to know him as a fellow baritone in the Lock City Glee Club over several years. I believe he lived the life fulfilled and will miss him. My sympathy to the family.

I knew Hank briefly (about 10 years) via Hail Vail Ski Trips. I always enjoyed his positive demeanor and humor....and he was an engineer! Hank will be missed....
