Margaret A. Diez, age 83, of Niagara Falls died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Margaret was born January 27, 1941, in Niagara Falls, the daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Freeman) Diez. She was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and received her Registered Nurse degree from the Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing. After a storied career as an RN, Margaret was the Supervisor of the Surgical Nurses at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for many years. She was the longtime companion of Edwin Price who predeceased her on June 20, 2021. She is survived by a sister, Nancy (Paul) Orsi of Youngstown, NY; a niece, Rebecca Orsi; a nephew, Jason (Christina) Orsi; other nieces and nephews, and dear friends, Elizabeth Ceretto and Edwin G. Price. She was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Lockhart and a brother, Ralph Dietz. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 23, at 11:00 am at North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria, NY with Rev. Robert Hagel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 56 708 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14303, or to Community Missions, Inc. 1570 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, n. Fourth & Ridge Sts. Lewiston, NY.
