I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing! He was always so vibrant and full of life! I worked with Jack at DuPont EMD until his retirement and recently saw him when he was flying to attend his high school reunion! Jack was a wonderful man, and I never saw him without a smile on his face! I know his passing leaves a huge void in your lives. I am so terribly sorry for your loss! Sue Allsop Charlotte, NC

Dearest Gretchen, our good neighbor and fine friend: Please know how very saddened we are to learn of Jack's passing. Living down the hill here, we would often wave to one another, and chat when we met on the walkways. He was a pleasure to be with at the Arts Council and with you at the various Historical Association get-togethers. You have such loving memories of his goodness and caring, and may he rest in peace. Dear Gretchen and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I had gotten to know him well as he sang under me in the Men's Chorus and in the Lewiston Choraleers. He always had a delightful story to tell and I never saw him angry. We'd meet every Tuesday as we made our weekly trip for wine! A lot of fun. I will miss him. Love, Don and Sandy Shrimpton
