I grew up as her next door neighbor. She was always so sweet and welcoming. I remember spending time at her kitchen table with Cara Garcia. When Frank was ill he asked my dad to keep an eye on Dorothy after he passed. My Dad mowed her lawn and did various other things to help her out. She always repaid him by bringing over some fantastic confection that she made. We couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. She will be dearly missed by the Lammerts family.
