Dear Tom. You will be missed by many as you touched so many lives in this world. I am grateful to have had the years with you as my older brother. You were always there for all of us. Now we are here for you. As dad would say “God rest your soul”. You can truly rest now. A well deserved rest. Until we meet again.
Your sister Judith

Dear Family and Friends of Tom,
I was so sad to read of Tom's recent passing. I was stunned to learn of the loss of another loyal friend and former patient.,
We became friends as I started caring for his parents who I fondly remember.
Please be assured of my thoughts and prayers and may your memories of happier days bring you much comfort

Barbara, Joan, Judy, Tim and family,
Ted and I send our deepest condolences to you all. Tom was such a great guy. Friends with my brother, Brien, I came to know him as a nearby neighbor who lived a few houses down. Living near the Napiers was a wonderful experience on its own. Tom was shy and soft spoken. Always sweet to be around.
Again, our deepest sympathies.

Joan, Judy, and Tim,
Our condolences to all. Tom will be missed by Linda & I. He was a classmate and fellow teammate at Lew-Port. We spent many years with Tom & Liz enjoying life beyond school. We coached Andrew in basketball at Stella Niagara & baseball in traveling little leagues. His humor and dry commentary will always be remembered. Regretfully we will not be able to attend Thursday's ceremony. RIP my Friend. Paul & Linda

Tom gave me my first welding job right out of welding school. Which was the beginning of my 30 yrs. In the trades. I'm so grateful the Napiers gave me the opportunity to show myself and other I had what takes to make it in the trades. Tom Napier once had a employee meeting g and he said to us one of the most poignant statements I ever heard. He said; " do you know what the difference between a winner and a loser is? A winner is a part of the answer, and a loser is part of the problem". Strong words that have influenced my life ever since I heard him say them. I'm sorry I never had the chance to thank him for that life changing inspiration he gave me. Rest in peace Mr. Napier. You'll be missed.

Napier Family, Judith, Joanie, & Tim, and families. I am so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He was a great man, and always enjoyed talking to him about anything and everything. He was very knowledgeable about all subjects, from sports to politics, and had a way of looking at things that I admired. I can still see him standing up in front of St Peters church, reading Grampa & Grandma Van's eulogies. I was impressed at his poise, and how he handled the situation. Calm & collected. He was a great cousin, and friend. He will be missed

To my 3 cousins Joan, Jude, and Tim,
Tommy was like a big brother to me and I loved him dearly. When we were growing up I spent a lot of time at your house playing and having sleepovers. Making ChefBoyardee pizza in the box and JiffyPop popcorn and watching black and white tv shows! He seemed to always be around to goof around with us. I think he may have been my first “crush”! I remember when he had his kidney surgery and I went to visit him at St Mary’s Hospital. He was surprised and said “Hey Dort what are you doing here?” He always called me “Dort”.
I felt very privileged to be a part of Liz and Tom’s pregnancy with Andrew by visiting their house to check on Liz and advise and support her when she was having false labor pains since I was a labor and delivery nurse. They were both over the moon over that baby!!
Then I moved to Virginia but anytime I came home I always would hope to see him while I was here even though I had alot of family to visit. (Just the VanDen Bosch family alone could take a week!) But no matter he would always greet me with “Hey Dort how the hell are ya!”
I hate that I won’t run into him anymore or hear him call me “Dort” but I will never forget my cousin Tommy and his love of life.
