Obituary of Linda J. Steck

Linda J. Steck, age 76, of Ransomville died unexpectedly on Monday, June 12th, 2023, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Linda was born on May 6th, 1947, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank and the late E. Ellen (Pearce) McClelland. She was a 1966 graduate of Wilson CSD. Linda married Gregory L. Steck on August 3rd, 1982; he predeceased her on September 04, 2004. She was a self-employed hair stylist for over 50 years. Linda enjoyed boating, gardening, spending time with her girlfriends, family, and pets. She is survived by two sons, Todd (Jenn) Westmorland and Scott (Francine) Westmorland; her sister, Barbara (Joseph) Calato; grandchildren, Justin (Becky), Drew, Sierra, Candice, Chrissy, Cody and Arianna Westmorland and Courtney Ganshaw; great grandchildren, Skyler, and Jaydon, also several nieces and nephews and her loving companion Richard Laskowski. She is predeceased by her brother David McClelland. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 16th from 2-6 PM. at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 6:00 PM. with Pastor Shelley Andrews. Burial will be in North Ridge at a later date.
