James V. Muscoreil Sr.

James V. Muscoreil Sr. was born in 1945 in Buffalo, New York, and raised by his amazing Mother, Julianna Smierczyk, along with siblings Joseph (Becky) and Jackie (Peter) Hostettler. On May 5th, 2023, he took his last breath at home, in Wilson, NY.

James married the love of his life, Diane, in 1965 and was extremely proud of his sons, Jimmy (Michelle) Muscoreil and Kevin Muscoreil. Father Muskie was an antique connoisseur, loved and served his country as a member of the 173rd Airborne Division, always provided for his family, was the proprietor of the Garlic of Eden in Wilson, had a passion for his community and the Town of Wilson, and was devoted and dedicated to Lions Club International. James' life will be celebrated on Thursday, May 11th (4 pm-7 pm) at Amigone Funeral Home, 2600 Sheridan Drive, Tonawanda, and Friday, May 12th at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. (4 pm-7 pm), 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Niagara Hospice, Wilson Lions Club, Brandel Murphy Youth Foundation or South Wilson Volunteer Fire Company.
