Richard Scott Plant
After more than 25 years living in the Seattle area, Richard Plant moved home to receive final treatments at Roswell and to enjoy his brief time left. He was devoted to his career in computer engineering, although his true interest was in establishing a career in online gaming generation. If you knew Rick, you likely remember him as competitive, innovative, intense and having a great sense of humor. These attributes never changed during his 54 years of life; he loved games of any kind: sporting events, card games, board games, gambling and as those who remember the 80s would remember “D&D.” “RP” as he was affectionately called, was so grateful to recently come home to Lewiston and reconnect with old friends. It gave him a renewed sense of purpose. He is survived by his mother, Mary K. Plant and his sister, Sherri Plant Steinback (Mark) and aunts and uncles in Connecticut. A private family service is planned. A celebration of life will be held in the summer months for anyone who knew and loved RP.
