Frank J. Molinaro Jr., 84, lost his courageous battle with cancer on March, 28th 2023, surrounded by family at Niagara Hospice. Frank attended Niagara Falls High School, where he was a member of the swim team. He joined the Navy and served on a Destroyer Tender in South East Asia. After his Honorable Discharge, he returned to Niagara Falls with his family and was employed at Hooker/Occidental; where he worked as a Millwright/Crane operator; retiring in 2001 after 39 years of service. His work ethic and attention to detail were second to none. Frank enjoyed playing golf with his friends at Hyde Park Golf Course. He loved playing cards and games of chance whenever possible. He looked forward to his annual hunting/fishing trips to Alleghany, to share time with his close friends. Most of all, Frank liked spending quality time helping out family and friends. His generous nature and compassion for military personnel were driving forces throughout his life. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary (Nee Balluzzo) Molinaro, his brother Ross Molinaro and his son, Frank Molinaro III. Frank is survived by his brother John Molinaro and his sister Sally Hansen, his daughters; Kim Molinaro, Maria Christine (Andrew) Minarcin and Tina Molinaro; as well as many nieces and nephews. Frank was also the proud Papa to (4) grandchildren and (4) great grandchildren. Papa is also survived by his best friend, Chief. Frank elected to donate his body to research. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Niagara Hospice; 4675 Sunset Dr, Lockport, NY 14094.
