I worked with Helen Murray as a secretary In patient registration at Mt. Saint Marys. Helen Murray has touched so many hearts like mine so deeply and profoundly. Helen Murray was a volunteer at Mt. Saint Marys during the time I worked with her and she was so caring and compassionate to the patients and there family that would find themselves in the emergency room we worked in together. One day she gifted me a silver prayer bracelet and a daily devotional titled “Jesus Calling “. Years later I always carried the daily devotional in my car where I completely forgot I owned it until my husband fell ill this new year. The day I picked up my husband from the hospital her book fell out from my car and I was brought back to remembering Helen’s incredible spirit. I went to visit Helen this past January and I got to have such a healing inspirational conversation with her to say thank you. I’m so grateful I got to encounter such an incredible Spirit filled with so much love and inspiration that continues to impact me and so many others. I wear the bracelet she gave me every day as a reminder of Gods love that shined so bright through her.God Bless you forever Helen you can rest in paradise with your family now.

Miss Helen, you were the greatest! I learned so much from you. Not just dancing on Wednesday nights at the Akron Elementary cafeteria but finding out that I could do so much more in life. You were always there when I needed a laugh or a hug. Thank you for my 13 years of dancing and making it so much fun. I love you and will miss you.

My prediction came true... Helen Murray is truly now "Saint" Helen! She stole my heart when I first met her at St. Bernard's Church. I can never thank Helen enough for all that she did for me as Pastor of St. Bernard's & St. Peter's. Her unwavering support, love, encouragement were truly a blessing to me. She was truly the heart of St. Bernard's Parish as she welcomed everyone with open arms. Saint Helen you are truly missed but you will always remain close to me in my heart. I love you dearly! I know you are dancing in heaven! Rest in the eternal embrace of God along with your beloved husband, Don and your Tim.

Helen was one of our volunteers at MSM ER and one of my favorites. She was always smiling and a joy to work with. May she be at peace and sharing a dance with Mr. Murray.

Helen was always an inspiration to all who knew her. She touched my family's life many times with her kindness. I especially remember her words of wisdom after the passing of my son. Having lost her own son she understood the pain and sorrow I was feeling. She helped me through that very difficult time. Her kindness and love will live on forever in my heart and that of my daughter who also loved and cherished Helen. Helen was in the ER one of the times when my husband was so very ill. She checked in on us multiple times even though it was past her time to end her work there. She knew again what I was going through and made sure we were both taken care. God bless her with the great reward of Heaven and the reunion with her wonderful husband Don and her beautiful son Tim.

Mrs. Murray was my favorite teacher. I took dance from her for over 10 years. She treated me with special kindness and love during a serious illness, and was one of the most special adults in my childhood. I have thought of her often over the years. Rest in peace Mrs. Murray ❤️.
