Blanche A. Gallo, age 95, of Ransomville died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home after a brief illness She was born May 26, 1927 in Blandon, PA, the daughter of the late George and Lydia (Stufflet) Millard and her late step-father, Calvin Angstadt. On February 13, 1945 she married Charles Gallo who predeceased her April 3, 2011.
Blanche always put her children, family, and friends before all and was a caregiver for many people. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, ceramics, and baking for her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters: Rose (Wayne) Peters and Diane Zastrow (John Locurcio), two sons, Jeffrey Gallo (Bernadette Mihalow) and Charles (Penny) Gallo, Jr.; a daughter in law, Dian Gallo; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Blanche was predeceased by a son, Marvin Gallo and a brother, Stewart (Dorice)Millard.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville on Monday, March 27, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Stewart Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131 or to the Wilson Food Pantry.
