E. David Nashwinter, age 80, of Wilson died on Thursday, March 9th, 2023, at home in Wilson. David was born October 30th, 1942, in Philipsburg, PA. He is the son of the late Lawrence and the late Doretta (Nearhood) Nashwinter. He married Mary Ann Augerot on October 10th, 1960, she predeceased him on December 8th, 2021 David served in the U.S Army from 1960 to 1963. He was employed by and retired from Delphi Thermal Systems as a General Forman after 35 plus years. David was an avid hunter, enjoyed auto racing at Ransomville Speedway, was a member of the O. Leo Curtiss American Legion Post, Lions Club. Moose Club and Numerous other clubs. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Nashwinter and Patty White; his son; David (Robin) Nashwinter; his siblings, Debra (Tom) Brown, Dolly (John) Jacobs, Webster Nashwinter, Wanda Corpus, and Jim (Rose) Nashwinter, also many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Jerry Nashwinter. Per request David will be cremated. A memorial service concluding with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 20th at the Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY 14131.
