Dave was not only my brother-in-law but a great friend. I never played golf until I played with Dave. He brought my game up from awful to terrible and my being left handed didn't help any. During the games we had the chance to talk, joke around and just get to know each other. Lunch at the club house turn and Blue's at the 19th hole were always the highlights.
See you at the next 19th hole.

My name is Christine. My brother Brad Lauzau and Dave where best friends. They went golfing all the time and also went to the local bars together. They also went fishing together. My brother passed when he was 56. Dave was devastated. He didn't want to see his best friend in Hospice. He wanted to remember him as the friend he was. I do not blame him for that. After Brad passed. I made a point to go to our local bar, Johnstons. Dave was still a connection to my brother. He would tell me stories about them both. It was so appreciated. Dave also came to both my parents funeral that meant so much to me. So every Tuesday Dave would come to bar to get Maryann her meatloaf dinner, have some drinks with his friends. He always sat in the same chair. I got to know Dave more and my guy and him became real good friends. I'm going to miss this old man whom I became to love . Rest in peace Dave. Enjoy your family and friends in heaven. No more suffering. But we will miss your presence, your smile, your laughter. Your a good man and we are proud to say you were our friend. R.I.P.
