Edward W. "Bill" Fleck, Jr., age 66 of Lewiston, died Tuesday January 11, 2011 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness. Bill was born March 13, 1944 in Phillipsburg, PA, the son of the late Edward W., Sr. and Audrey (Robins) Fleck. He was a 1963 graduate of Clearfield High School in Pennsylvania and has resided in Lewiston since 1965. He married Linda (Halliday) Fleck on December 9, 1966. Bill was a Custodian, employed by the Lewiston Porter Central School District for over 25 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member and past Governor of the Lower Niagara Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #584; a member of the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. #1, an EMT, and a member of its' Benevolent Association; a past member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team; a former EMT and First Aid Instructor for the Red Cross; and a member of the Lutheran Church of The Messiah in Lewiston. He is survived by his wife, Linda; a daughter, Sheryl (Donnell) Zimmerman of Lewiston; a son, Thomas W. (Anne Marie) Fleck of Nashville, TN; and a grandson, Joshua T. Fleck. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 14, at 10:00 am in the funeral home, with the Rev. Thomas Mason officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
