Obituary of Beverly Ann Bocek

Beverly Ann Bocek, 68, of Wilson entered into rest on Wednesday February 15th, 2023. She was born on October 05, 1954, she was raised in Niagara Falls, attended Sacred Heart School, Madonna High School, and Graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1972. After High School she moved to Florida where she lived for 10 years, married, and had her daughter. She moved back to Niagara Falls, and as a single Mother, she put herself through school to become a computer programmer. Working in that field for 35 years in Niagara and Erie Counties, she retired as a Sr. Systems Analyst. Most recent employments were at Graphic Controls and Kaleida Health. She moved to Wilson in 1987. Beverly enjoyed reading, baking, hanging out and traveling with family and friends. She had a great love of gardening which she shared with her husband. Their gardens and pond were featured in several garden shows. They also hosted several weddings and receptions in the gardens. Favorite places to travel were Sint Maarten and Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Married for 34 years to Husband John(Jack) Bocek, Vietnam Air Force Veteran and Retired Niagara Falls Firefighter. Mother to Ronni (Michael) McGrath and three Grandchildren Jacob Mosholder, Abigail McGrath and Alyssa McGrath. Stepmother to Brandi (Deceased Kevin) Stoldt and three Grandchildren Ryan Stoldt, Joshua Stoldt and Cameron Stoldt. Predeceased by parents WWII Army Veteran Albert and Elizabeth (Durkin) Supon of Niagara Falls, NY; Sister Evelyn(Ronald) Whatling of Canton Ohio; Brother Donald (Myra) Supon of Niagara Falls, NY; and one Niece. Survived by Sister Linda (Jerry) Schuster of Poplar Grove, IL ; Brother David (Maureen) Supon of Lake View, NY ; Sister Mary Ann (Philip) LeClaire of Bluffton, SC ; Brother Army Veteran Thomas Supon of Statesboro, Ga ; and Sister Eileen LaRose of West Sand Lake, NY. Nineteen Nieces and Nephews, 25 Great Nieces and Nephews and 3 Great Great Nieces and Nephews. Family and friends may call on SATURDAY February 18th at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES Inc. 3648 Ransomville, Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131 from 2-4 PM. with a prayer service at 4 PM.
