Linda K. Burr, age 76, formerly of Niagara Falls, entered into rest peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at Beechwood Nursing Home in Getzville, NY. Linda was born on December 30th, 1946, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late James H. and the late Lillian O. (Kinsley) Burr. Linda was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She retired from Cannon Design in 2012 after many years working in the accounting department.
Linda was involved with big brothers and big sisters organization for many years, she was lifelong member and past officer with the Elks Club, a past member of the Buff Social Club, an avid bowler and a wonderful lady who loved all of her nieces and nephews and family.
Surviving is her sister, Virginia "Ginger” Hout; her brother, Rodney “Rod” (Ellen) Burr; Nieces, Renee (Jeff) Higgins, Nadeen Burr, Lindy (Bill) Halleck; nephews, John (Jennifer) Hout IV and Daryl Burr. Also surviving are many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Linda is predeceased by her brother James H. “Bud” Burr III.
Per her request she will be cremated. She will be buried with her parents in Riverdale Cemetery Town of Lewiston, NY. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
