Roxanne M. Geerin (NEE Mashoian), age 88, of Lewiston died on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Roxanne was born on September 10th, 1934, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Isaiah and the late Baizar (Yeremian) Mashoian. Roxanne was a master’s degree graduate of Ohio University. She was employed by Parmed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. Roxanne was a seriously independent and very strong spiritual person. She enjoyed nature and was very proud of her Armenian heritage. She is a 1st generation child of Armenian genocide survivors. Roxanne was a member of the St. Mary’s and Moses Kostic Orthodox Church in North Tonawanda.
Surviving are her children; Michelle Alvarez, Lenore (Frank) Chen, and Curt Geerin; her sister, Mary Olivieri; three grandchildren, Colette, Christian Chen and Curt Geerin Jr. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Margaret Gay and brother Michael Mashoian.
