Obituary of Betsy Kay Brown

Betsy Kay Brown, age 52 of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Sunday January 9, 2011 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Betsy was born April 19, 1958 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late LeVan C. "Tweezer" and Nina (Robins) Brown. She was a 1976 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and had worked for the Hertz Car Rental in Buffalo and the Holiday Inn on Grand Island before moving to Houston, TX where she had resided for 30 years. Betsy returned to Lewiston in June of 2010. While in Houston she was employed as a Senior Help Desk Analyst/Customer Service by Tessada & Associates, Inc., a Johnson Space Center Information Resource Directorate. Betsy was responsible for any activities associated with Electronic Document Management applications. Previous to that, she was employed by Enron Broadband Services, Inc., the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris Co., and Computer Task Group, Inc. (exclusive to Exxon Corp.) all in Houston. She loved animals especially her dog, "Abby". She is survived by a sister, Bonnie Sue (Mick) Trunzo of North Tonawanda, and a nephew and niece, Zachary & Jessica Trunzo. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
