My dad was a lifelong friend of your dad and was saddened deeply of his passing. He himself is very ill at this time but I am sure he would want to send his deepest condolences on this additional loss in your family. Bonnie when he is well we will let him know what has happened and I am sure he will contact you then. For now our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We took each other to our senior proms. We both graduated in "76" and had Alot of good times together, but lost touch when she moved to Housten. However I never stopped thinking about her because Betsy always lit up a room, with her great personality.
I am deeply saddened by the passing of a good friend.

Betsy and I worked together at the Merry Go Round Boutique in the mid-seventies. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. We were both animal lovers, and she was one of a few who would take the time to look at the numerous pet pictures I would bring to work with me. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I never forgot her. My condolences to Bonnie and family. Kathi Paonessa Duff

Despite being separated over the years by distance, Betsy and I have been close friends for over 30 years. We met at the Lewiston Peach Festival when we were about 18/19 yrs old. Brian Edwards and I were walking around the festival and Betsy was just comnig off the fairis wheel with either Reenee or Sue Cothran, when all of a sudden I hear her yell "Half-Time"! Not knowing what the heck she was talking about, I said yeah sure, we're Half-time. Half-time was the bar over on Ontario Avenue. From there, Betsy dated Brian Edwards for a bit, whom she loved, but her and I became life long frieds.
I take resonnsiblity for Betsy moving to Houston. I had gone there in the early 80's to work. I called Betsy and said, why don't you come and visit. In the end, I retuned home and she stayed, where she went to work for NASA. In hindsight, I don't know if her moving to Houston was good or bad. Good from her standpoint, because she stayed there for 30 years, but bad for the rest of us, because it kept a really great, fun person from being a part of our daily lives.
Betsy and I had lots of fun together. She loved the disco days and frequented the rusty nail, the continental, and the late show. Betsy also got me started in disco retail sales. I worked for Merry go round and comming attractions just like her.
Betsy had an unmistakeable chuckle and laugh, that I could always trigger whenever I wanted, becuase she always laughed at my stupid sarcastic humor. I was lucky that way.
I used to meet her and her mom and dad at Howard Johnsons for fish fries on Fridays. I think Mrs Brown (Nina)would have liked to see us together, but that wasn't the basis for our relationship.
Just recently, Betsy reached out to me. Just during the recent holiday. We spoke on the phone for about 15-20 minutes. we exchanged a couple of voice mails afterwards and had intended to hook up, but that never happned. About a week later I got a call with the very bad and sad news that Betsy was gone.
Despite many years of spearatation, I always thought about Betsy and I think she aways thought about me. We were really good friends. I'll miss her quite alot, but I'll always have a great number of memories to reflect on to hold me over until we meet again someday.

I first met Betsy over 25 years ago when we both worked together. She and I became immediate friends, and I always enjoyed sharing a good laugh with her (and there was no other way to be when you were with Betsy!). I will truly miss her.

Betsy was a member of our "Group" in the NASA environment. I did not know her that well as I was a generation older than she. I was secretary to that group and we had fun both in the office and after work parties.....she was always ready with her great big smile. She was always a beautiful blonde and very helpful in any situation. Some of her friends were "questionable" but very loyal and true....you all know who you are. Let's hear from you. I am teasing and know Betsy would be the first to appreciate it.
I know this is a great loss to her sister and her family. It has been a hard time for you and your family. Thinking of you.

Like others, I was saddened to read about Betsy's passing.
I first met Betsy through a mutual friend in the late 80s when a group of us would hang out at her Apartment pool. She later attended my wedding. Over time we lost touch and it has been years since we last spoke. I will always remember her for her sunny personality, her friendliness, and sense of humor. She was always a pleasure to be around.

Betsy has been a kind and loving friend. We miss her and Abby here at Briarwest and were happy she could spend loving time with her father. She was so friendly and positive - never a negative word about anyone, ever. Bonnie, you and your family remain in my prayers. Betsy, Vaya con Dios, amiga.
