George L. Ziemendorf, age 74, of Wilson, husband of Denise Ziemendorf (Nee Koss) entered into rest on Monday, January 23rd, 2023, at Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. George was born on October 20th, 1948, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Lewis Ziemendorf and the late Dorothy (Late Bernard) Porter . George married Denise Koss on June 2, 1973. He retired from Akzo Noble Chemical Manufacturing in 2003 after 30 years in the maintenance Dept. George enjoyed flying his drone, feeding the wildlife and birds and working in his shop. He is survived by his wife: Denise Ziemendorf ; their children, Robert Ziemendorf, Tracy Ziemendorf and Matthew (Kelly) Ziemendorf. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 27th from 4-7 PM. at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY His funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28th in the funeral home with Rev. Ronald Haefer officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery Wilson, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AWARE 5565 Mapleton Rd. Lockport, NY 14094.
