Obituary of Linda M. Roland

Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda Roland of Youngstown, NY passed peacefully on November 25, 2022. Lin was born in 1940 in Belleville, ON Canada to her loving parents and adored sister Barbara who was delighted to have someone to play tricks on. Predeceased by her parents and loving husband of 60 years Murray, she is survived by her sister Barbara, daughter Gillian, sons: Brad(Jillian), Chris(Kelly), and Jayson(Jennifer), and 8 grandchildren. She completed her nursing diploma in Kingston, ON and used that love of helping people to successfully run a home nursing agency which tripled in size under her direction. After criss-crossing both Canada and the United States with her family, they finally landed in Youngstown NY where she created a warm and welcoming home. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to host a full house of kids. We will miss her regularly sent letters full of helpful articles and cutout comics that she didn’t want us to miss. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the PEO in support of continuing education. PEO was near and dear to her heart and she was a member for over 50 years. https://donations.peointernational.org/peo-donation-star A celebration of life will take place on December 10th, 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown 100 Church St. Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements entrusted to Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. Please visit www.hardisonfuneralhomes.com
