Bonnie Lee Schruise, a loving wife, mother and nana, age 76, of Ransomville, wife of Robert “Bob” Schruise died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Amherst, NY. Bonnie Lee was born on July 2, 1946, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She is the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Joyce (Warner) Macmillan. She graduated from high school going on to attend Nursing School to become an R.N She married Robert Schruise on December 29, 1977 She was the owner and operator of Honey Bears Bakery and Pizza Shop in Ransomville from 1985 to 1995, prior she was an R.N at Kenmore Mercy Hospital and private medical practice. Bonnie Lee loved her knitting and crocheting group the “wool and wine”, crafting, and traveling throughout North America. She is survived by her husband: Robert; her children; Shannon Watson, Scott (Amy) Cudney; grandchildren, Kenneth and Kyle Cudney and special dog Ozzie. Per request she will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131.
