My mother was an opinionated woman, who would stand her ground in what she believed in. I will always cherish everything that she has instilled in me.
There's an old song that from time to time I listen to, its words are very touching to me. It pertains to death, which makes me reminisce on the loved one's I have lost.
"Like A flower, she bloomed till that old hickory wind called her home. No one has it made, till you’re far beyond the pain, and we who must remain, go on Living Just the same."
Jacqueline Diane has got it made. She's gone far beyond the grave, and we who must remain, will try to go on living just the same.
Thanks for the memories mom,
Love from your son
Doug
