Obituary of Barbara A. Nashwinter

Barbara A. Nashwinter, age 84, of Cape Coral, FL died Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, in Cape Coral, FL .Barbara was born on July 11, 1938, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Robert Stanley and the late Stella (Koziol) Shear. She married Paul W. Nashwinter on June 23, 1962, he predeceased her on March 22, 2022. Barbara was a travel agent with Gorge Travel in Lewiston for many years, previously working at Rainbow Travel in Niagara Falls and as a catalog operator for Sears at the Summit Park Mall. Barb retired in 2001 and moved to Florida. She enjoyed traveling and quilting and was a member of the dominoes club “ The Domino Divas” , a Mahjong Club and was a season ticket holder for the Florida Repertory Theater and the Broadway Palm. Surviving are her children; Rhonda (Geoffrey) Boulden, Kenneth (Debra) Orgel, Robert (Patricia) Nashwinter and Michael Nashwinter (Kurt Koerber); her sister, Theresa (Tancred) LoPresti; 7 grandchildren; William, Kimberly (Michael Morse), Stephen (Andrea) Boulden, Kyle and Ryan Orgel, Abigail, and Nathaniel Nashwinter; and a great granddaughter Ramona Morse. She is predeceased by her brother Stanley ( Kelly) Sciera. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 4th from 3-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. 401 Ridge St. (N. Fourth & Ridge Streets), Lewiston, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 5th at St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, NY with Rev. Cole Webster officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity RC Cemetery following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
