Obituary of Neil J. Demmin

Neil J. Demmin, age 69, of Cambria died unexpectedly following a house fire on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at his home. Neil was born November 14th, 1952, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Clifford and the late Mabel (Gotts) Demmin. He was employed by the Union Sun & Journal and Niagara Gazette, first as a maintenance worker and then moving to the mailroom. Neil loved to fix old bikes, going to all the local car cruises and spending Friday nights watching the racing at the “BIG R” Ransomville Speedway. Surviving are his siblings, James (Janet) Demmin and Hollis (Julia) Demmin; five nieces and nephews, Tracey Fletcher, Michael (Laurie) Demmin, Lynn Farnumg, Dale (Gretchen) Demmin and Kathy Mameli. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 11:00 AM.-1:00 PM. at Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY.
