Obituary of Heather L. Gibson

Heather Lenore Gibson, 47, of Youngstown, NY, passed away Wednesday August 17, 2022 in Ransomville, NY, from pancreatic cancer. Born in Lewiston, NY, on Wednesday February 5, 1975, she was the daughter of Eugenia Anne (Orsi) Gibson and Frederick “Rick” Louis Gibson (Judy). Heather graduated from Lewiston Porter High School in 1993. She attended Niagara County Community College where she was active in the women’s soccer team. She also attended online courses from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She enjoyed painting, drawing and composing music. Heather also enjoyed warm summer walks at Fort Niagara with her niece and aunt. Heather is survived by a brother, Brett Charles Gibson of St. Joseph, MI, and sisters Jennifer Grace Fragale (Eric) of Niagara Falls, NY and Michelle Ruth Lichtenberger (Alan Thomas Reid) of Youngstown, NY. She is also survived by one niece Alyssa Jean Cragle and two nephews, Raymond George Cragle, Jr and Jaden Kenneth Reid. She was predeceased by her mother Eugenia Anne (Orsi) Gibson who died Oct. 9, 1994 and a brother Jerome Gabriel Gibson who died February 3, 1992. She was very fond of animals and always had a pet or two in her life. Heather’s furry friends Toby and Brock will miss her dearly. Her dearest friends, Day, Kim and Tera helped her through her illness and brightened her final days. To respect Heather’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
