Obituary of Alfred M. Hunt Jr.

Alfred M. “Al” Hunt, Jr., age 74, of Lewiston entered into rest on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at home alongside his family. Al was born on March 19th, 1948, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Alfred M. Hunt Sr. and the late Betty J. (Kelly) Hunt-Beckwith. Al attended and graduated from the University of Buffalo with a bachelors degree. He married Paulajo Pollow on June 29, 1979, in Lewiston, NY. Al served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb Oncology in 2005 as an Oncology Pharmaceutical Rep after 28 years. Al was a member and past Vice Commander of the American Legion Lewiston Post 1083. He is survived by his wife: Paulajo Hunt; stepson, Chad (Stacey) Zahradnik; his siblings, Sandra (Late Ronald) Granieri and Phillip (Rose Ann) Hunt, also his grandchildren Megan and Ethan. He is predeceased by his brother Robert “Robbie” Hunt. Per request Al was cremated, private burial will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to Niagara Hospice.
