Gerald W. “Jerry” Reid, age 79, of Lockport, formerly of Ransomville, died Wednesday, July 20th, 2022, at Newfane Rehab and HCF. Jerry was born on April 4th, 1943, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Elmer W. and the late Thelma R. (Huse) Reid. He married Nancy Alexander on July 2nd, 1974.
Jerry served in the U.S Navy from 1961 to 1963. He retired from Occidental Chemical in 2014 as the Instrument Supervisor after 40 years. Jerry like to golf, hunting and play poker at the casino.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Reid; their children, Ryan Reid, Derek Reid, and Shawn Reid; his siblings, Sandy (Ray) Evanson, Tina Keith and Marcia (Randy) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Alexander, Adian, and Margaret Reid. Jerry is predeceased by his sister Linda Luescher.
