Robert J. “Bob” Brewer, age 76, formerly of Dunkirk died Thursday, July 14th, 2022, at Buffalo VA Hospital. Bob was born April 3rd, 1946, in Dunkirk, NY. He is the son of the late Edmund and the late Shirley (Jakubowski) Brewer. He graduated from Cardinal Mindszenty H.S.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1969 earning a purple heart while serving with the 2nd Squadron 1st Calvary Regiment. Bob was employed for many years by Dunkirk Ice Cream and Cliffstar as Security Guard and Laborer.
Surviving is his brother James (Erika) Brewer; nieces, Mariette, and Patty Ann; nephews, Robert and Thomas and Cousin John (Claire) Cieslewicz.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on TUESDAY (7/26) at the WNY National VA Cemetery in Corfu, NY with military honors. Arrangements entrusted to Hardison Funeral Homes Inc. Please visit www.hardisonfuneralhomes.com
