Edwin W. Moshier, age 85 of Ransomville, died Tuesday November 30, 2010 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston after brief illness. Ed was born January 20, 1925 in the Town of Sandy, PA, the son of the late Cecil and Laura (Little) Moshier. He was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and has lived in Ransomville for over 60 years. Ed was a WW II U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1944 to his honorable discharge in 1946. He was the recipient of the American Campaign Medal and WW II Victory Medal. Ed married Beatrice L. (Garrison) Moshier on April 12, 1958. He worked at Harrison Radiator- Delphi as an Aluminum Brazier and Welder for 33 years retiring in 1987. Ed was a member of the Ransomville Baptist Church and he enjoyed bowling. In addition to is wife, Beatrice, he is survived by his children, David (Joanne) Garrison of Wilson, Marie (Brian) Waild of Medina, NY, Mark (Tammy) Moshier of Ransomville, Brian (Valerie) Moshier of Amherst, NY, and Nancy (Leigh) Hillman of Ransomville; his grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Hillman, Nicholas, Raeann, and Ben Moshier; two sisters, Louise (Stanley) Robins of Ransomville, and Ruth (Roy) Langston of Niagara Falls; two brothers, Donald (Andrea) Moshier of Youngstown and Paul (Lily) Moshier of Irwin, TN. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, B. Marie Little, and a brother, Eugene Moshier. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 3, at 11:00 am in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard D. Gorrow, Jr. officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria. Memorials may be made to the Ransomville Vol. Fire Co.
