June L. Wilson, 90, of Ransomville, wife of the late Gordon “Gordy” Wilson entered into rest suddenly on April 30, 2022, at Mount St. Mary’ Hospital in Lewiston. She was born on June 24, 1931, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to the late Leon and Florence Chambers Merrill. June graduated high school and went on to serve in the United State Air Force from 1952-1954, during that time she married Gordy on April 4th, 1953. June was a homemaker most all of her life, she was a member of the O. Leo Curtiss America Legion Post # 830 Ladies Aux. She enjoyed going to the auto races with husband, going to auctions and quilting.
Surviving are her children; Sue Zeitz, Ronald Wilson, Rhonda Wilson, and Stanley (Barbara) Wilson; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren also many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131. Funeral services will be private with her family. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park with military honors.
