When my Brother moved back to town, he asked me who that lady was that was always walking around town, smiling and saying to "hello" to everyone....I simply told him, Mrs. Jackson. She will be missed and a piece of Youngstown goes with her.

What a beautiful lady Ginny was. No matter where we talked, she always had a smile and something nice to say.
We sang together in many different musical groups and she loved her music.
Goodbye Ginny. You will be missed.
Much love and Peace,
Blair McEvoy

I did not know Ginny well...in fact we only spoke a few pleasant words to each other over the years when when we sometimes met at Franny Gabriel's hair salon (and what wonderful silver hair Ginny had!)in Youngstown. Yet I always thought of her as a beautiful, elegant and very interesting woman, with her stylish, colorful clothes and that intricately carved walking stick that she used on her rambles. I wish I had known her better, and I will miss seeing her at various events in Lewiston, especially concerts at the gazebo when she sat on a bench with her head tilted to one side, smiling and listening to the music.

I did not know Virginia personally but we did share many hellos and smiles when we saw each other-either at Fort Niagara, on the streets of Youngstown and once at a DAR meeting. What a beautiful woman and it IS obvious how much she truely enjoyed and appreciated life!

A gentle soul who was loved by many...
Larry, Sue and Bill,
I am sad to hear about Ma Jackson. She was a unique person who was blessed with a long and interesting life. She always remembered me at Christmas with a card, even though I have been away for quite awhile now. Only a special person would do that, and she was.
My children were blessed to have such a great Grandmother, and will miss her terribly.
R.I.P. Grandma Jackson.
