I worked closely with Pat during the early years of the 1980's at Niagara Share. What a very great pleasure that was, and the only years in my career when I had the privilege of watching and learning from a woman more advanced in her career than I. Her tremendous analytical skills, her ability to drill down through the layers of her desk surface to pull out the exact single sheet she sought and her integrity in all things was remarkable. She was encouraging and humorous always.
Pat was clearly held in high regard in the Buffalo financial community. In those days visiting Wall Street analysts regularly made presentations to Buffalo financial analysts and portfolio managers. We were all aware that Pat's questions and comments were on point and decisive every time.
A woman ahead of her time, a roll model and a thoroughly delightful companion always, may she rest in peace. I will not be forgetting her. My sincerely sympathies to her good friends in their loss.
