Lester N. Merrick, age 58, of Ransomville died Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Lester was born on December 22, 1963, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Donald Merrick Sr. and Ruth (Colister) Merrick. He was graduate of Wilson CSD class of 1981.
He was employed by Riverdale Cemetery Lewiston, NY as a Groundskeeper for several years. Lester enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and going to the races at Ransomville Speedway.
Surviving are his sons; Steven and Jeremy Merrick, his mother Ruth Merrick; his siblings Donald Jr.”Rusty”, Harold, Ricky, Nancy, and Bobby Merrick, also Sheila Schrader, Patty Robins; several nieces and nephews and longtime companion Christina Grusendorf.
