Obituary of Susanne M. Johnson

Susanne M. (Moore) Johnson, age 64, of Lewiston died Sunday April 3, 2022 at her home after a brief illness. Susanne was born June 15,1957 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Richard F. and Betty Jean (Hunt) Moore and was a 1975 graduate of Lew-Port High School She married William “Bill” Johnson on May 6, 1978. Susanne enjoyed her life as a Homemaker and Cosmetologist from her home in Lewiston. She was everyone’s “Mom” and “Babci”. Susanne loved to cook and baking for everyone. She enjoyed dancing and singing with her husband, Bill, for over 40 years, her dogs and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by her children, Nicholas (Karisa Reid) Johnson and Morgan Johnson Cooper; a brother, Richard “Rick” (late Laurie) Moore, Jr.; her grandchildren, Rayn, Stella, Nathan, Allan, Julia, Abby, Avery, and Aleigha. She was also much loved by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston on Friday from 4 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St., Youngstown, NY with the Rev. Rex Stewart officiating.
