Obituary of Paul M. Muoio

A life well lived. Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye, but our sadness is overwhelmed by all the memories made with our favorite storyteller. Paul Muoio was born on February 16th, 1951 in Niagara Falls, NY. He spent his school years in Lewiston, NY, and graduated from Niagara University in 1973. Paul married Judith Miller in 1974 and they spent the next fifteen years living in various states across the country before settling in Youngstown, NY in 1989 to raise their three children. Paul then became prominent in the insurance world, ending his career in 2014 as the President of Benefit Specialists of NY (Syracuse). Paul was always so proud of the employees he groomed and the success each of them found after leaving BSNY. Upon retirement, Paul and Judi joined the Antique to Chic co-op in Lewiston, where he greeted everyone with a smile and learned their life story before they left the store. Paul is survived by Judith and their precious dog Sadie, his sons- Paul Michael and Nicholas (Kimberly), his daughter- Kristin Dobson (Jeff), his four grandchildren- Logan and Lorelai Muoio and Ashlynne and Emma Dobson, his cousins- JoAnne DeSantis Carpenter (Bill) and John ‘Butch’ DeSantis, and a large extended Italian family. Paul was predeceased by his parents- Nicholas and Gertrude (Grana) and sister Kathy. Please take a moment to recall your favorite Paul story and raise a glass to a life well lived. Salute.
