Cheryl M. Brown (Nee Barnes), age 90, of Wilson entered into rest on Monday, February 14, 2022, at home. Cheryl was born on February 7, 1932, in Medina, NY. She is the daughter of the late Dewey R. and the late Beatrice E. (Joseph) Barnes. Cheryl was a graduate of Albion High School. She married Francis "Frank" Brown on November 19, 1949, he predeceased her on January 14, 1988. Cheryl worked at Inter-Community Medical Associates for several years and lastly worked for Dr. Robert Wilson in Lockport retiring in 1998. She was a member of Exley UMC, Delphic Circle, and the Wilson Historical Society, she enjoyed traveling, word puzzles, reading and most of all her family. Beloved mother to Deborah Hendricks (Albert Ehlen), Nancy (David) Rohring, Russell (Cindy) Brown and Linda (James) Pease; grandmother to, Marc Brown, Michael (Amy) Brown, Bradley Pease (Haley Hull) and Alexander Pease (Hannah Kim); great grandmother to Michael, Emma, Ava, and Evan Brown. She is predeceased by her brother William Barnes. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 18th from 4-8 PM at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 19th at Exley UMC 338 Lake St., Wilson, NY with Pastor Shelley Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Exley UMC P.O Box 69 Wilson NY 14172, Wilson Historical Society P.O Box 830 Wilson, NY 14172, or the Wilson Fire Co # 1 Ambulance Fund.
