Obituary of Jack Edward McNally

Jack E. McNally, age 73 of Youngstown, entered into eternal rest on Thursday November 18, 2010 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo.
Jack was born May 3, 1937 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late John and Eleanor (Halpin) McNally. He was employed by the former Chemical Leaman Tank Lines, Inc. in Tonawanda for 32 years, retiring as a Mechanical Technician in 1993. Jack married Judy P. (DeRemer) McNally on September 24, 1988 and they have resided in Youngstown the last 17 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #449 and a long standing member of St. John Lutheran Church in Youngstown.
Jack was a man of many projects. He loved to work with his hands. He spent many of his retirement years happily remodeling the home of his dreams with his beloved wife Judy. Jack was also a man of quiet faith and few words. His kind and gentle nature has been a steady source of strength for his family. He was well loved.
In addition to his wife of 22 years, Judy, he is survived by his children, Jack (Kathryn) McNally,
Caryn (Matthew) Sharpe, Kathleen McNally (Dan Whiting), and Randy (Kim) McNally; his step children, Deborah (Dan) Phillips, Charles (Lori) Crocker, and Walter (Kris) Crocker; his brothers, Richard (Lorraine), Roger (Diane), and Gary McNally; a sister, Debbie Bedard; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Patricia McNally and Sharon Rivers; a brother, Leon McNally; and a great grandson, Mikey Clark. Jack will be sadly missed by his beloved cats, "Mr. Wilson" and "Shaunessy" Edward".
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 22, at 11:00 AM in St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Lockport St., Youngstown, with the Rev. Richard Blemaster officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Lockport St., Youngstown, NY 14174.
