Donna M. Rick

Donna M. Rick (nee Haas), age 84, of the Town of Cambria died on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Donna was born on January 19, 1937, in Lackawanna, NY. She is the daughter of the late Esmond and the late Flora (Bennet) Haas. Donna was a graduate of Trott Vocational with a Nursing degree. She married Albert W. Rick on February 26, 1955, he predeceased her on April 03, 2007. Donna was an LPN for over 30 years working at ICMH in Newfane retiring in 1999. She enjoyed gardening and quilting in her spare time. She is survived by two daughters; Susan (Late Peter) Rademacher of Wilson, NY and Wendy (David) Hoover of Clifton, AZ; her sister, Martha (late Vann) Reed; several grandchildren; Eric (Jenn) Hoover, David (Felica) Hoover, Andrew Hoover, Christopher Rademacher, Erin Rademacher, Katherine (William) Abbott; her great grandchildren, Riley, Alexa and Amelia Hoover, Oliver, Clark, Grayson Rademacher and Jackson and Hudson Abbott. She is predeceased by her siblings Eugene and Roberta Austin. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 21st from 10 - 11 am at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery.
