Mary Ann Nashwinter (nee Augerot), age 78, of Wilson, wife of E. David Nashwinter entered into rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at home. Mary was born on October 15, 1943, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank and the late Doris (Briggs) Augerot. Mary attended local school, she married E. David Nashwinter on October 10, 1960. Mary was a truck driver for many local companies including Certo Brothers Distribution. She was one of the first local female stock car driver, she enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing the role of a clown at local schools, teaching karate, and going scuba diving. She is survived by her husband, E. David Nashwinter; two daughters, Cindy Nashwinter and Patty White, and a son: David (Robin) Nashwinter, also 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings Barbara Brown and Roger Augerot. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 14 at the Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY with Rev. Kim Smith officiating.
