Obituary of Gary D. Jakubec

Gary D. Jakubec, age 62, of the Town of Wilson died Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at home. Gary was born on March 29, 1959, in Lockport, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Lucille (Kinney) Jakubec. He graduated from Wilson CSD class of 1978. He served in the U.S Army from 1986 to 1989. Gary was currently employed for the last 15 years with LINX Inc. in Wilson in their shipping and receiving dept. Gary loved auto racing, he worked on the pit crew for Rudolph Racing Team, he was an avid biker and walker. Surviving are his siblings; Linda Wagner, Lucille "Lou" Imhoff, Marilyn Beck, Bonnie (Sam) Vinju, Carolyn Hess, Gail Czach, Dorothy (Craig) Lynch and Leonard “Lenny” (Shelley) Jakubec also, several nieces and nephews. Gary is predeceased by his siblings Robert Jakubec, John Jakubec, William “Willie” (Late Juanita “Bonnie”) Jakubec and Deborah Jakubec. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 8th from 3-7 PM at the Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
