I was so sorry to learn of Carol’s death. I first met her in the 1980’s when she worked in the Department of Medical Technology. She became a colleague, friend, and ultimately my boss. Carol was wonderful to work for and was a great teacher—always caring about her students and colleagues. She was a hard worker who always had a sense of humor. I am thankful for my many great memories of her and will miss her. Deborah Holden

Before Aunt Carol moved back to Buffalo she lived just outside of Boston Massachusetts. One of my fondest memories was going to see her there when I was around 10 years old. She lived in Natick, a suburb outside of Boston so we took the train into the city to go shopping. This was my first time on the train and shopping in a big city. We went to "Downtown Crossings" and shopped at Filene's Basement. We ate lunch from a street vendor. I loved it! The next day she picked up live lobsters and boiled them for dinner. That was a first too. She was the exciting aunt, who lived in the big city and I will always remember those visits.
