G. Cleland Truesdale, age 100, of Youngstown, died Thursday, October 21, 2021, at home. Cleland was born on May 22, 1921, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late George and the late Ellen (Williams) Truesdale. He graduated from the Youngstown High School, he married Mildred E. Hoag on November 20, 1943, she predeceased him on March 24, 2019.
Cleland operated the family farm and did custom farming until 1966,he then went to work for St. Johnsbury Trucking in Buffalo until 1983 when he retired. Cleland enjoyed traveling the United States in his motor home.
Surviving is his son Clifford G. Truesdale, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is predeceased by his wife Mildred and his children Carole Ann and Gary W. Truesdale.
Private burial will take place in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY.
