Paul B. Banks, age 93, of Ransomville, husband of Irene Banks (Nee Farrell) died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Paul was born on September 20, 1928, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late George and the late Ruth ( Nee Kenney) Banks. He graduated from Wilson H.S class of 1946, he then went on to serve with he U.S Navy from 1952 to 1953. Paul graduated with a bachelors degree in business from Niagara University. He married Irene Farrell on August 24, 1957. Paul worked as a cost analyst for Airco Carbon in Niagara Falls for 24 years retiring in 1988. He enjoyed farming his 35 acres of property, was very passionate about farming and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife; Irene (Farrell) Banks; his children, Michael, Thomas, Jane, and David Banks also Laura (David) Lizotte; his siblings, Lawrence (Diane) Banks, Mary (Mark) Pioli and Margaret Moore; Two grandchildren Kelly and Alli. He is predeceased by siblings Adrian Banks and Theresa Webster. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 15th at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Town Line Rd., Ransomville, NY with Rev. James Bastian officiating. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery Town of Cambria, NY with military honors. (Current COVID and church regulations will apply) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131 or Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Town Line Rd., Ransomville, NY 14131.
