Obituary of Mary Kaser Crompton
Mary Rae Kaser Crompton, age 90 of Lewiston, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Our Lady of Peace NCR in Lewiston, NY. Mary was born on January 22, 1931, in Olney, IL. She is the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Helen (Clark) Kaser. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Indiana, class of 1949. She went on to earn her B.A. of science degree in chemistry from Purdue University in 1953, then her master of science degree in education from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, in 1968. Mary was employed at Dupont and then later as a science teacher at LaSalle Jr. High School with the Niagara Falls Board of Education. She was a member of the Lewiston Presbyterian Church, the New York State United Teachers and the Lewiston Seniors Club and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Mary is survived by her nephew, Jim Kaser; her niece, Beth Kaser Clark; several cousins, and friends. She is predeceased by her brothers, Alfred, Bob, and Capt. James Kaser USAF. NO VISIATION OR SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN NY. Private graveside with her family will be held on Sumner Cemetery, Sumner IL.
