Obituary of Carol L. Wilkesmore

Carol L. Wilkesmore (nee Zimmerman), age 65, of Lewiston, wife of 46 years to Frederick Wilkesmore Sr. entered into rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY after a lengthy illness. Carol was born on June 9, 1956, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of Caroline Tillotson Zimmerman of Ransomville and the late Harold Zimmerman. She graduated from Wilson H.S class of 1975. She married Frederick Wilkesmore Sr. on June 21, 1975. Carol was a part of the Youngstown Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Axillary for 13 years. She loved her arts and crafts, attending many craft shows, riding on the Harley with her husband also going to concerts and watching local bands perform. Surviving is her husband, Frederick Wilkesmore Sr.; three children, Frederick Wilkesmore Jr. (Cindy Richard), Shawn (Colleen) Wilkesmore and Crystal (Patrick) Hoadley; nine grandchildren, Kelli-Lynn, Amber, Sarah, Emma and Daniel Wilkesmore, Jersey and Charlie Haskell ,Grace Brennon, and Harper Hoadley; her siblings, Harold “ Butch” (Joan) Zimmerman, Sharon (Lolly) Wilson, Gary Zimmerman, Sandy (Glenn) Pless, Gregory Zimmerman, Cindy (Troy) Orsak and Thomas (Diana) Zimmerman.
