Mildred R. High 89, of Wilson, wife of John D. High passed away on Saturday September 04, 2021, under the care of hospice at home. Born on June 17, 1932, in Niagara Falls to the late Raymond A. and Violet (nee Hillman) Garrow Mildred was a 1950 graduate of Niagara Falls High School, she married John D. High on April 28, 1951. Mildred and John were longtime active members of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Wilson.
Surviving is her husband, John High; their children Kevin (Bobbie Jo Harris), Thomas (Janice) High and Janet (Robert) Welch; her siblings Douglas and Linda Garrow; sister-in-law Barbara Maggio, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mildred and predeceased by her brother James R. Garrow.
No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church or Niagara Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., Ransomville.
